Six-year-old Christian left this note under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy:
I was eat-
ing brekfast
And Then my
tooth fell out
And Then my tooth
got on my
Pancake.
And then I
swallowed it.
Update: The Tooth Fairy graciously accepted Christian's note and gave him a silver dollar. He was so excited! We have since learned that she has brought toys, books and other prizes to some of the children we know. So I'm curious, what does the Tooth Fairy bring to your house?

That is so cute!
In my experience, the tooth fairy was always sympathetic when I had no tooth to give her. I am sure he won't be disappointed either!
How cute! I'm glad you kept his note!
Precious!! What a memory you will have from this!
That is so cute!
I have been really listening to coversations between my four children and sometimes I have to laugh at what they come up with. Children are so pure in heart and it shows.
Glad to see this cute little piece on your blog. Hoping the tooth fairy will understand fully.

Mama to four
Hilarious!!! :)
He definitely deserves a little money for a swallowed tooth.
:-)
Aww, how adorable. But did the Tooth Fairy still leave him some money for a missing tooth? You can't just leave us hanging like that!
Thank you so much for visiting today, it was really nice to meet you (and your four gorgeous children - I love that pic of them all in white and am SO pinching that idea!)
So sweet!!
Hi Melissa,
That is an adorable note. The tooth fairy only leaves $1 at our house. For awhile she left a gold dollar and that was a BIG hit! When they started losing molars she left $5 and on their very last tooth guess what she left?? $20! Woo Hoo.
Yes, it seems the toothfairy goes a little overboard at some other peoples houses. :)
I also wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog and let you know the winner is up.
PS. Thanks for your sweet comment about my haircut too! You made my day.
The tooth fairy that comes to our house leaves $1 per tooth and some foreign coins. I think she's farsighted in the dark....
When the tooth fairy REMEMBERS to come by (sometimes it takes 2 or 3 nights for her to make it here), she brings a couple of bucks. A little more if she's forgotten to come by.
That note is to cute. I don't have any children so I don't "see" the toothfairy and I'm not sure what she leaves.
But, one day my great niece, Trinity, who was 6 lost her tooth and told me about it. She then asked me what the toothfairy did with all the old teeth.
I told her what I heard when I was a little girl. That the tooth fairy takes the teeth to a jeweler and he turns them into pearls.
The next day my sister was wearing some pearls and she saw them. She went over to her and said "did you know you have teeth in your ears". My sister just looked at her and started to laugh.
Hugs,
Joanne
There is no tooth fairy. They just hab=nd me the tooth and say, "Hey mom, you owe me a dollar." Nice.
Visiting from Blog Around the World (a few days late!)...
Very cute note to the Tooth Fairy! Sounds like something my oldest (5½) would come up with. She's lost 2 teeth and she got $1 for the first tooth and 50¢ for the 2nd. Don't know how that matches up with the current rate of the Tooth Fairy, but she was thrilled to get some money.
