Handmade velvet bookmarks were a perfect favor for our recent Book Club Christmas tea party, and I wanted to share one with my dear readers. Pictured above are three of my favorites. Would you like to tuck one of these into a favorite book this winter?
I am sure you will need something good to read during those long winter nights, so I will be surprising the winner with a book as well.

Everything you do is just gorgeous. The present cake was extremely perfect. My choice "if" I'm one of the lucky girls would be the angel to mark my place.

Those are all beautiful! Of course, I would love the one with the tea cup. I never met a teacup (real or otherwise) that I didn't like.
I sent my daughter the link to the post about the lemon cake. Since my husband and I will be having our first Christmas with no kids here, and he loves lemon, I'm thinking of making a two layer version for our dessert.

It was hard to choose between the teacup and the pink one, but the pink one stood out a little more to me. I hate we were out of town for the Christmas get together!

Those are so pretty! In fact, I made a note about them the other day thinking I may have to try to make some next year for my book club!
I would be happy with any, but the one with the angel is my favorite!

The teacup as my Mom was English and we shared many a tea time together. It would give me lovely memories of special times with my lovely Mother . My second would have to be the angel, its so vintage and lovely. Laura R
