A Cupcake Surprise

I found this pretty cookbook on a recent trip to Borders Bookstore and couldn't resist picking up a copy for you. Yesterday's post featured a recipe from Perfect Cupcakes, Cookies & Muffins. I have enjoyed thumbing through this book and found several recipes I would like to try. I love cookbooks that include photos of every recipe, and this one delivers with full-color images of recipes like pound cake cupcakes with lemon-lime glaze, chocolate truffle cupcakes and ginger pear cupcakes. Along with a number of tempting cupcake recipes, you will also find an inspiring assortment of cookie and muffin recipes worth trying.

When you find the perfect recipe to try, of course, you will need some pretty little cupcake liners. So this box of cake shop petite liners from Meri Meri will be perfect for baking up something wonderful.

To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below. Add an extra comment if you follow A Little Loveliness. I will announce the winner of this cupcake giveaway at the conclusion of our cupcake party posts. Sweet photos, resources and creative projects are coming your way!

Well, I was coming here to tell you how much I love your blog. I was showing your blog to my best friend and we spent ages reading past posts together and enjoying every picture.

We agreed, you must be SUPER WOMAN to do all you do!

But, then I see you are having this wonderful giveaway that I would just be delighted to win. So now I don't know if I should act like I'm gushing over you and your blog. I don't want you to think I'm just kissing up to you so I win.

Soooooooo, I'll save my gushing for another time ok.

Please add my name to the give away! I'm a BIG cupcake lover and this is one book I've not yet seen and those cupcake liners are so beautiful!

Dear Melissa,
Loved your cupcake party. My son and his family of sweet little women have given me two cupcaake books; yet I've not seen the one that you are sharing. They always inscribe all books to me and one says"we look forward to eating all your practising" and one says with love and hope for cupcakes. They also gave me a cupcake stand. I saw the sweet little covered stands and my diabetic husband said he would purchase me 12 if I would keep them filled. My family loves cupcakes just like yours does.

Dear Melissa,
What a breath of fresh air you are. A dear friend of mine sent me your blog and I have been captivated. I am a southern girl down to my magnolia roots and and have recently been transplanted from Georgia to a state that doesn't appreciate sweet tea, monograms, smocking or magnolia blooms at Christmas. My list could go on but I am trying to be thankful and not have a complaining spirit! When I read your blog it is like sitting on the front porch of my old house with a sweet friend and I can just smell the jasmine and gardenias blooming around us. It has become a treat in my day! I made the raspberry cupcakes this morning and have "prettied up" a happy to send to my niece because she loves raspberries. They are wonderful! Just wanted to say thank you for appreciating so many southern traditions and for being a bright light in this world. I am changed for "meeting" you! Shea

Also like you, I love tea, crafts, and attempting to be in the kitchen with my girls. I discovered your blog not too long ago, planning my daughter Chloe's Fancy Nancy Birthday Tea Soiree. Sometimes I'll do a baking day with some little girls and we will make cookies, brownies, gingerbread houses... This would be perfect for just such an occasion. I hope I win. :)

BTW - if you get a chance, please stop over at our blog and check out my mom's giveaway. We would love for you to visit.

Thanks,
Amy

I read your blog almost daily and it's one of only 3 I have bookmarked besides my daughter's! I love your pictures and ideas and have tried out a few with my only little granddaughters. Thank you for sharing loveliness for so many Godly women!

I visit your blog almost daily and think you are a wonderful example of gracious southern living. I am thinking of having a cupcake party for my next book club hostessing event. Your ideas and photos are lovely!

I read your blog daily and love everything you have to say! I learn so much and get great ideas. My husband and I don't have any children of our own, but I get to try out your recipes and activities on the youth group we work with. Thank you for all you do!

I'm so busy at work that I don't have NEARLY enough loveliness in my life right now. Cupcakes would be a great start. I am a follower...

What a darling party! I have a little girl (after 4 boys) who is now one year old and I know I will love getting inspiration from your posts. We homeschool, so there is no way I can do all you do ... but at least I can try to make some events a little extra special!
