Festivities on the Fourth

We enjoyed spending Independence Day with my family at my Aunt Gail and Uncle Bill's lakeside home. We spent a wonderful day with Gail and Bill, my parents, and my brother, Nathan, and his family.

A rare family photo.

A few favorite snapshots of the children. Nathan and Shana's baby, Kadence, is a doll! I joked that we would have to set a timer to avoid fighting over who got to hold her.

My parents share a moment with the grandchildren. We only needed my sister, Jennifer, and her family to make our celebration complete.

I love spending time at the lake. Didn't get to this 4th though....fun looking at photos of someone who did. :) I've been following your blog for a short while now and I have already gotten so many ideas and so much inspiration from you. Have a lovely week, Melissa.

"Rare family photo" indeed! You took the words right out of my mouth! But I enjoyed seeing it as well as the one with your parents with their grandchildren! Family and love!

Loved seeing all of you celebrating together. When I was young, we always celebrated at the lake with my mother's sister's family and our grandmothers. In addition to the hot dogs and hamburgers, we would also fry any fish we caught which was lots of fun for us. I'd tell you to cherish these times, Melissa, but soemthing tells me you already do! :-)

Love to you and yours...

XO,

Sheila

Thank you, Ngo-Whitcomb family, for the compliment! I use Picasa, which you can download free from Google, for my photo editing. It is user-friendly and free!
