Something to Share

The best way to enjoy the fragrance of a flower ...

is to share it with a friend.

Mary Ashley and Emma are wearing smocked shorts sets from Castles and Crowns in this photo. This childrens clothing line is too precious not to share! My dear friend Allison is a C&C rep, and I am hosting a party for her Tuesday. They feature smocked, appliqued, holiday-themed and monogrammable garments for girls and boys up to size 8. You can see the fall line here. Leave a comment here or on Allison's blog by Thursday if you are interested in ordering, and we will hook you up!

Can you hear my heart breaking from there? My girls wore smocked dresses every Sunday. I loved them and saved them all! They are now 16 and 8 (going on 18). She just broke my heart when she told me she was too old for baby dresses and bows... what next! One day I will have some sweet granbabies and I can play again! Sweet girls you have there, Susie H~

Hi Melissa, I am rather new. I found your blog about 1 month ago from Cindy's. I bookmarked it and keep coming back because of the way you deal with your family! I love the clothes, pictures and family life you portray. Thanks so much for sharing your life! We love you all! Christine. P.s. I am a missionary's wife in the Philippines. We had our 1 and only child/Son, William (Will) here. So different, but a blessing. I hope you get a chance, from the beginning to read some of our blog. It's The Devonshire Files. Thankful for you.

Those are adorable! I really miss those days of dressing my daughter in smocked dresses with ribbons in her hair.

Those photos are so sweet!

I would love to come, but we will have to pass on this one. Thank you, again, for a wonderful BBA last week. We were so inspired by the flip flop cake that we made our own along with some of the neighborhood children. It was a HIT! Also, my 17-yr-old neice asked for help in preparing a short devo for 3rd-4th grade campers. I instantly thought of your thoughts on washing smelley feet and offering a drink of cold water in Jesus' name. Do those two ideas go perfectly with camp life. Thank you for your creative life and your willingness to share. =)

Your children are so precious!
I just got your e mail. We went to Mackinac Island. I love the clothes and please let me know if you have another party in the future. Last week, I spent way too much at our local children's boutique and also ordered from Boden last weekend. I am so sorry to have blown my budget already!

I think you need to send those photos and those words to Hallmark! Very card worthy :)! I am afraid my 10 and 8 year old boys would not wear anything without a soccer ball or a video game logo on it....but oh! if I had girls--those dresses are GORGEOUS!

My daughter wore smocked dresses FOREVAH and now we are dressing her daughter in them. Please send me info on Castles and Crowns at jdy277@aol.com. Are you having the party THIS Tues. (July 1st)? I think I've missed it!

Hugs!
