Please remember Joe's mother, Betty Lester, in your prayers. She is a special lady active in her family, church and community. Betty fell Saturday and broke her leg. Surgery yesterday revealed multiple breaks, further complicated by extensive arthritis. Please keep Betty in your prayers, as she faces a slow recovery and knee replacement surgery down the road. We love her so much and hope she will soon be back on her feet doing all the things she loves to do.

Consider it done~
Here's hoping you and yours have a most enjoyable Thanksgiving week, too!
Concerning the Twilight series, they are extrememly thick books, but an easy read. They are not violent, no sex, and there is enough mention of good and evil to let you know that Edward is concerned that because he is a vampire, albeit a 'vegetarian vampire' he is worried about going to "Hell" and doesn't want to be responsible for Bella's soul. {By vegetarian, they drink animal blood, not humans. haha} I personally thought they were much less harmful than the Harry Potter series. Hope this helps~
Thank you for your kind words on my blog, Melissa! I hope you check back...my entry today is not so pitiful as yesterday's.
I am praying that Betty will have a speedier than expected recovery. My sister-in-law's mother is good friends with your husband's family.
I am with Nancy on the Twilight series. I wouldn't allow Harry Potter, but Twilight has much less potential for danger, in my opinion.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,
Laura McCann
