When are leftovers sweeter the second time around?
When delivered to a new neighbor in the midst of unpacking.
When shared at an impromptu picnic.
When delivered to a special teacher.
When enjoyed with a pot of tea on a hurried afternoon.
Tomorrow I'll share my favorite idea for getting my children excited about leftovers!

Lovely post--now I just needed to know how to get my husband excited about leftover, ha ha!
May I come to your house for leftovers? Melissa, your leftovers look better than my meals! Amazing.

Thanks for your comment...Nashville IS amazing! We lived there for 2+ years but now we live in the northeast...and I miss the South desperately!
I absolutely love your blog. You are simply fabulous!
Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!
you should turn in an application to Southern Living or Southern Lady and do some photog work for them!
yum! Got any recipes for left over Halloween candy?
BTW, what was that great looking red punch in the first picture?
Awesome photos of lovely settings!

I can't wait to hear your idea is. I think Brooks thinks leftovers is a food. I will tell him we are having leftovers and he will say, "That sounds yummy!"
Yes, can I come over for leftovers please:) Only kidding! It is not polite to invite yourself. haha! You make everything look so nice though. Seriously, you do inspire me. Tonight I thought of you. I made fresh broccoli & cheddar soup with BLTs. It really hit the spot.
Will you and the girls be at the luncheon? I am really hoping so since I will be bringing Lily>>
This is such a wonderful post!
