Fuel to the Fire

Thank you to Becky, Stacey and Laural for sharing these awards with me! I feel like I am in great company with these three creative women. I hope you three know that you are only encouraging me to spend more time crafting! I am supposed to list six things I love and pass this award on to six more blogs. Since we're getting creative here, these are six of my decorating favorites:

1. Pink

2. China -- Early in our marriage, Joe resigned himself to the fact that we would never have enough.

3. Fresh flowers

4. Fabric -- I love browsing fabric stores and can't resist a lush floral or pretty toile

5. Needlepoint pillows

6. Monogrammed ... anything!

I pass this award on to Stephanie, Karin, Carly, Melanie, Felicia and Robyn. Thanks for the inspiration, ladies!

I'm so curious, do you set your posts to publish after you go to bed? Or are you up late? (of course I'm just being nosey and you don't have to answer)

I am up late and on the west coast. It's fun to see new posts on someone's blog at this hour. Ü

Yes, I do schedule them to post at midnight on blogger, which puts them up at 2 a.m. Central time. Sometimes I am still up when they post, but more often I am sleeping. So first thing in the morning I check to make sure they published correctly.

Hope you're having a good one!

Somehow those things don't surprise me, Melissa. Something told me you liked pink and monograms and china. ;-)

I do, too. Here's to the china queens! Maybe you need some pink, monogramed china, Melissa. I saw a cute site that had something on that order. I wish I could remember where???

Oh, and nothing sends my heart racing like a fabric store. I buy lots of it and love every single piece.

And needlepoint, that, too!

Congrats on your awards:)
I love all those things as well. I introduced a friend to your blog a few weeks ago and forgot all about it and the other day I ran into her and she thanked me:)

Yes, Montgomery Ballet is a little more intense I think. I have been to another company here in town and the girls run around and are free to wear whatever. M.B. is very strict on the attire. It has to be the same colors and brand and no tutu for practices. Also, parents are not allowed to watch practice. But, Lily has learned so much and I like the way they take the art of ballet so seriously.
Buddy stage managed Nutcracker last year and his neice was very involved years ago and always in the performances so he made the decision. It is a bit more money at $65 per month for 1 hour a week.

My mom is better, thanks! She scared us to death though. 58 years old and had a small stroke and will be wearing a heart monitor for a few weeks. She was in Jackson Hospital for 3 days but is out now.
