A friend shared this refreshing treat with my parents years ago, and it has become a family favorite. To make peppermint sundaes, drizzle egg nog over peppermint ice cream and garnish with peppermint pieces or chocolate curls. Yum!

Sandy Toes did a Christmas Punch similar to this. I'm making it at my dessert party this year.
I have little pictures that show up on my blog of what other have have blogged about, and as soon as I saw a picture of the ice cream, I immediately had to see what it was. That looks so yummy!!!
Peppermint ice cream is THE BEST!!! When we lived in Nashville, we were absolutely addicted to Purity's version!
Wow..you have such a beautiful touch..that sounds like the perfect Christmas treat!

It looks positively festive!
Yum....I have never liked peppermint ice cream until I tried it with warm hot fudge drizzled over the top...I bet a little of that would be yummy as well. It's beautiful...yes, you make food just beautiful - it's an art you have. :)
Here's an easy recipe for peppermint sauce that is yummy over brownies and ice cream:
1 1/2 cups finely crushed peppermint, 1 1/2 cups whipping cream, 7 oz jar of marshmellow cream. Heat and stir constantly over low heat until mints are melted (takes a while). Yummy!
Loved the story you left on my blog..that is true kindness..would hate to crawl under a car!:)

Yum. My husband loves egg nog. I'll have to make some of this for him. And I love the ribbon touch!
The & sign is called an ampersand so all I can figure is that the stinkin' HTML codes our blogs use input the ampersand as &. It's kind of annoying. It looks cluttered to me or something. Maybe I should change my signature to pinkgreenandsouthern instead of pinkgreen&southern.
I went to get peppermint ice cream at the grocery last night so I could make this yummy treat, and they didn't have any! What a disappointment.
oh this looks and sounds wonderful...
