Painting Pottery Eggs

Every year I look forward to taking the children to paint Easter eggs at a local pottery studio during spring break. Yesterday's rainy weather gave us the perfect opportunity to spend an afternoon carrying on this tradition.

I can't wait to add this year's painted eggs to our collection!

I loved this idea and will be starting this tradition with my own girls ages 4, 2 and coming soon (due in June).

I amazed that your girls stayed so clean in their lovely dresses. I would be scared to dress my girls up in those outfits to paint.

Our family, one of the great things about going to paint pottery is that the paint is non-toxic, and it washes out of clothing. So you can plan to get your baby's handprint on something if you go later this year. At our pottery studio, they will do a baby footprint tile for no charge.

Found you via One Crafty Place. LOVE the tradition. I think we will have to start the same tradition in our house. How do you display the eggs?
