Tomorrow I will be speaking for the ladies session at the Faulkner University Lectureship in Montgomery, Ala. If you live nearby, please join me at 11 a.m. in Lester Chapel for a session on the topic "Making Home a Haven." The lectureship will be going on through Thursday, and you can find a full schedule and directions to the campus here. I hope you will join me for a dynamic, faith-building spiritual experience!
(Just a note: I took the photo in the center of the collage in New Orleans. It's the house I would choose if I could live in a pink house!)

I think that is a wonderful topic and what I've always tried to do...don't know how successful I've been though. Wish I could be there.
Melissa, if I were in driving distance, I would be there! Have a wonderful time. I know it will be great.
XO,
Sheila :-)

Wish I could be there!!! Beautiful pictures!!!!
Melissa,
Is that a picture of your home? Beautiful.
No, Jennifer, I was looking through pictures on my computer of images of home, and loved this photo I took of a home in New Orleans. Since the rest of the photos are of my family and home, I realize many people would assume it's our house. But it's not. I guess it's the house I would choose for myself if I could live in a pink house!
Oh, I wish I could attend but I live 3 hours south of Montgomery. :(
The house is beautiful. :)
This is the first time in my life that I wished that I lived near Faulkner University. I would have loved to a session where you would be speaking. I can pray for you though, as you do. I must tell you, that it was difficult for me to imagine you and your family being sick. Thank goodness you are all feeling better.
I'm sure it will be very enjoyable! Wish I could be there!!
Stumbled across your blog while blog-surfing. Your photos are quite beautiful... as are your children.
If I lived close to Faulkner, I'd head on over for the lecture. Great subject.
You have such a lovely family, your children are so picture perfect looking. The pink house is lovely, too. Hugs, ~cindy s~
Believe me - if I lived closer I would be there. Your presentation sounds intriguing.

Oh How I wish I could be there!!! I am so happy that you are feeling better. I got your e mail the other day, I am so sorry to not have gotten back to you yet. We are having some issues with our house. But I am thinking of you, hoping that your next few days bring you much joy!!!
Hugs,
Melanie
