Emma's World

I often suspect that 3-year-old Emma lives in her own world -- a wonderful place full of giggles and fairy dust. And from the looks of things, Emma's world must be prospering. Because unlike the rest of us who are trying to cut costs in this struggling economy ...

In Emma's world, they are actually cutting money.

Where is this magical place, you may ask, where joy is abundant and money grows on trees? Well, Silly, I asked her myself where she lives, and she gave me this simple answer:

"Emmabama!"

That is priceless! No pun intended. I remember my little brother cutting up the money in his piggy bank when we were younger. He thought cutting his money would mean he would have more. My mom wasn't too happy. Luckily, the bank exchanged the taped pieces of paper.

That is hilarious! Maybe she was cutting it up to share with Layla so they could go shopping at the Emmabama Mall! LOL:)

My four year old must have lived in that land when she was three,as she also was into cutting money. Your girls are adorable. As a mommy to three little girls (Rose almost five, Pearl soon to be three and Violet 2 months) your blog has inspired me to pull out my sewing machine and make them some lovely pillowcase dresses. Now I just need to move form the inspiration step to the actual process. My goal is to have them made by Easter so my three little princesses can match for Easter Sunday! Thanks for blessing us with your lovely creativity.

Oh she is just too cute!!! How great that you have this blog so you can look back one day and live it all again. I sure wish blogging was around when my kids where little. I would love to be able to go back and revisit their childhood and remember all the cute things they said!

heehee...oh to be so carefree...& making more money pieces...kinda like "stretching" the value...

Hmmm...when our 19yr old was 3...he would always talk about a place called "tooter-roosky-nairobi-alabama-Hoka-mowa (oklahoma is where we lived at the time)... he thought that ws the most hilarious place on earth...just where exactly? don't think he ever said. :o)

Blessings & Aloha!

...finally made my rounds at some blog beach parties (that was fun, since I was able to find so many photos of our 3 when they from little to big...soaking up sun on sandy shores), & my rooster party set up...so now I'm back to catching up on some favorite blog reading :o)

Love it ... so sweet.

Hi,
My name is Kristy Davis and I am from Birmingham, Alabama. My husband and I, and our four children (ages 7 and under) are missionaries in Hinton, Alberta, Canada. We live in the foothills of the Great Rocky Mountains. The Lord brought us to Canada almost three years ago. We live in a beautiful town, that is so needy of the gospel.

I stumbled across your blog and fell in love with it. Sometimes I miss that southern charm up here in the great, white north:) My mom actually ships us smocked dresses for the girls, and sweater vests for the boys:) Your blog gives me a taste of home!
Thank you!
