Moments from Heaven's Past

video

Looking through old photographs, I found this video I made two years ago. It is bittersweet to watch it now, realizing how much the children have grown.

Very Sweet. I do like the back ground music. Do you mind sharing who/what is is?

Thank you, Ms. Elaine! The song is "On My Way Home" by Enya.

Hi Melissa, I love your blog. You are so talented. I am a fellow church of Christ gal. I had a question about the adorable crayons used in your back to school tea party. I have never seen them with the polka dots.

Melissa, did you make the girls dresses? I just adore the white cotton lace look, and wondered if you had made them yourself? If you did and you have directions, can you share them here? Thank you for "A Lot of Loveliness" shared for our benefit...I so enjoy this site, and check it before any other each day...Your family is so beautiful, and your love is clearly evident in your posts.....

In a recent Christian Woman you had a pattern for a simple sundress. Women in our congregation, along with women in some other congregations, have been making sundresses, shorts and tops to send to Guyana for several years. In the last few years, hundreds of clothing items have been sent to the children there. Some of the dresses have been like the ones in your article. We have named this the "Valerie Project" in memory of a young woman who went on the mission trip to Guyana and was later killed in an accident. It is exciting to see all the children's clothes before they are packed and sent.

We are looking forward to having you in Henderson soon.

Bittersweet is a good word to describe the elusive time of having our precious kids at home.

Hi Melissa,

As everyone here does, I love your blog! I'm a follower but I don't receive notices that there is a new post. Have I done something wrong when signing up?

Also, I was wondering if you would mind sharing how you make the lovely collages of your photographs for your blog? It's so much more appealing than just vertical pictures.

Thanks and please know how much your blog blesses me and inspires me as a mother.

I bet you really teared up watching that! It's so rewarding yet heart-piercing to watch your kids grow up in what seems like the blink of an eye! You have a beautiful blog with tons of great ideas... not sure how you do it all!
