A Romper on the Beach

Our recent trip to the beach offered me more free time than I usually have at home, so I packed my sewing machine. I made Emma this pillowcase romper, with the length shortened from this pattern.

I started making it in the morning, and by the afternoon it was ready for a walk on the beach.

So very cute! Some think I am weird because I like to take my sewing maching and sewing projects on vacation. Glad to know there are others that like it too! I made a pillowcase dress night before last for my little niece using your directions in your blog! Thanks for the pattern.

You are so amazing...I don't know anyone who can keep up with their kids, have so much fun, and still have the time to do things so "lovely". You are an incredible woman....and you love the Lord too making the best wrapped package deal ever...you are an example of a Proverbs 31 woman if ever I saw one...

Thank you for sharing the loveliness in your life...I enjoy it each day...checking in now with all my other blogs too...

Have a blessed day...I know you will..

I bought this pattern along with another one but haven't had time to do anything with it! Both lengths are adorable. As are your girls!

You do realize that your children are so beautiful that there are lots of moms who now know they can no longer truthfully claim to have the most beautiful children in the world...

I personally always felt bad about that when my gorgeous kids were small. In order to not pop other mother's "bubbles" I kept pictures of other less attractive children in my wallet...

I have been plannig to make a pillowcase dress, but my sewing machine just broke! That was my very next project. I wanted to make one and her best friend one to wear on the first day of school.

I can so remember packing my machine & taking it with me on trips....when my kids were little & I used to sew! I understand the business at home all to well! Great job!

So sweet. Will make some rompers for my granddaughters and will embroider their initial on the dress. Pam
