Spring Teacher Gifts

For the past few months I have been collecting pretty white pitchers and teapots to thank our teachers for the wonderful school year our children have enjoyed. Filled with flowers and finished off with a dainty Martha Stewart tag, I hope these mementos will remind our teachers of the young minds they have poured their energy, wisdom and talents into this year.

"The task of the excellent teacher is to stimulate 'apparently ordinary' people to unusual effort. The tough problem is not in identifying winners: it is in making winners out of ordinary people." -- K. Patricia Cross

WOW! The teachers in your life are so blessed. What a great idea to collect the pitchers and containers ahead of time...that makes the task seem so much simpler when the time comes. I Love roses....so of course, these are beautiful to me!

Hi Melissa,

Congratulations! Everything you do is beautiful! I wanted to feature your slumber party on my blog and would like your permission. It's mostly read by Brazilian Moms like me, and I am sure they'd love to see the beautiful job you did with that party. If you could let me know if it's all right, I'd appreciate it. My e-mail is kk_miguel@hotmail.com and the blog address is: http://karenayars.blogspot.com/

Thank you very much and looking forward to hearing from you,

Julie, I picked these up at TJ Maxx and Marshalls -- some for around $2 each! They made such a pretty collection grouped together, but hopefully each one will find a special place in a deserving teacher's home or classroom.
