Pretty Pink Punch

This frothy pink ice cream punch was a refreshing accompaniment to birthday cake at Mary Ashley's recent Fancy Nancy party. To make this party favorite, add 1/2 gallon ice cream or sherbet by scoopfuls to a punch bowl and pour 2 liters of clear soda over. Stir gently and serve. Or make pretty floats for a fizzy taste of fancy anytime!

For this party we paired strawberry ice cream and Diet 7-Up, but I have also used sherbet and ginger ale with delicious results. For my fanciest day ever, we made this punch with raspberry sherbet and Diet Rite White Grape. (Our wedding guests loved it!)

Who knew being fancy could be so easy yet taste so good?

Oh I have not had that kind of punch in years and years. I remember when everyone would make it for baby showers and parties. I'll have to make it again now because you got my mind thinking about it.

Yum!

Hugs,
Joanne

I LOVE the plates.... I did not see those before in other pics. Are those hard plastic? Where did you get them if you don't mind?

Heidi, my mom got me the shoe plates from TJ Maxx a few years ago. They were perfect for serving the moms at the party. For the little girls we used silver platters from Dollar Tree, and I'm not sure what they are made of.

Just popping over to say "Hello."

Thank you so much for the prayers the past few months. It has been difficult...I miss him so much, but I know that with the love of family and friends, we will be happy again soon.

Love,
Melanie

I have to try this. You are inspiring me to have a Tea Party for my 63rd Birthday this summer. Grands only are invited. I am thinking outside in the back yard. Have been working it up for a couple of years but something always seems to interfere. Perhaps this year.
Note: No my son in law did not housesit. Good question though. I got a great chuckle from it.

Thanks for the tip. My daughter is having a Pinkalicious Princess Party for her 2nd birthday. This punch will be a quick and easy compliment! Kudos!

Melissa, I just noticed that you have several speaking engagements with the Church of Christ. I find that interesting because I, too, am a member of a Church of Christ (in Valdosta, GA) but I found your website off a google search for "pink punch". Small world! It's very nice to meet you. :-)
