A trip to Jasmine Hill Gardens in Wetumpka provided the perfect opportunity for Mary Ashley to wear the heirloom dress I made for her this spring.
Before I even purchased my fabric, I could picture her running down a garden path in the dress. So our afternoon was a dream come true!
Mary Ashley is wearing a Bijoux style dress made of pink satin batiste and accented with lace and ribbon. You can read more about what this project meant to me here.
And you can see more images from our trip to Jasmine Hill Gardens later in the week!

She was just beautiful in this yesterday! And the pictures are great!!
I love the dress, and the pictures are gorgeous. (I had my wedding portrait pictures taken there.)
These are just precious pictures!
Your hard work will be very appreciated one day, when your grown daughter looks back at these pictures.
The dress and model are breath-taking! I LOVE the extra length; this dress will grow along with her. Be sure to take it to the beach for portraits, too.
Great job!!
That dress is fantastic. My favorite picture is the one where she is walking away. Absolutely beautiful! Talent! You have talent!!!

Hi, just came across your blog and surprised to see you live in Wetumpka..we use to live on Jasmine Hill Rd. near the Gardens..high up on a hill by the old log cabin near road..I didn't think the gardens were open anymore..was closed for awhile I think..my daughter performed there with The Wizard of Oz about 24 yrs. ago! Was a beautiful place..the pics you took there of your daughter are beautiful..I take my 4 yr. old granddaughter to lovely places for beautiful pics too...took her to Dale County lake the other day with an old wood vanity with tri-fold mirror and made beautiful pics in the woods..soo much fun!Love your blog!
