Easter Tree Party

Our good friends Stacey, Emma and Lizzy invited us over yesterday for an Easter tree party.

Stacey spray painted terracotta pots and branches for the project, and the girls painted the pots with lovely spring colors.

We inserted branches into floral foam cut to fit the pots and covered the foam with moss. Then we strung thread through plastic Easter eggs.

The girls loved decorating their Easter trees at the party, and they now have them proudly displayed in their rooms. Our party was so much fun, I think we have found a new springtime tradition!

OMGoodness!! I think I just figured out why all the plastic eggs for this year have holes in them!! If they've had holes in them before, I never noticed until this year when Alise asked, "Mommie, why do these eggs have holes in them?" I said, "I don't know, Baby! Maybe it's to let the candy you put inside 'breathe.'" I got a weird look. So that explains it!!
