Mother's Day Memories

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! The children and I spent Mother's Day with my mother, grandmother and sister-in-law. It was so special to have four generations together to celebrate the blessing of family. My post "Little Moments with Mother," which appeared in Ideals Magazine several years ago, shares some of my special memories of growing up. You can read that post here.

Tomorrow I'll share this year's teacher gift!

Oh Melissa - to have four generations together on this special day...what a legacy. :)
We will have our first 4 generation get together this next week. My niece had a baby and we will be celebrating with a 4 day reunion. :)

Hi Melissa

Four generations together is one of my favourite things - what a blessing to be able to celebrate Mothers Day in this way.

I read your post where you recorded some of your memories of growing up and it was "beauty full". Mothers really are powerful people whose actions and words can shape future generations.

Happy Belated Mother's Day to one of my very favorite mothers! You wear that crown proudly as do your mother, grandmother, and SIL!

XO,

Sheila :-)
