On My Toes

I am headed to Georgia for a ladies day tomorrow at the Downtown Church of Christ in Newnan. Please join us if you can! To close out this week, I invite you to read one of my all-time favorite posts, a poignant moment I observed at last year's ballet recital. You can find A Bouquet of Blessings here.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Hi Melissa

It really has been a little loveliness stopping by your blog all week and being transported to the beautiful world of everything ballerina.

The story from last year's ballet recital is such a special and touching story. Strangers helping other people really do change lives and often in such profound ways.

I have a feeling that you will be seeing those sweet cookie ballet slippers appearing at parties - they are so sweet and I can imagine little girls being captivated and excited by them.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Elise.

I'm still in tears as I write this. You experienced what was for the little girl, no doubt, a miracle...and a profoundly sweet one at that. My childhood is reflected in the part of the little girl, and Heavenly Father has been the bearer of my bouquet of flowers. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm sure I'll be thinking and pondering on this all the rest of the day.

Ahhh ballet....I remember when I took classes when I was younger...I fully intend on wearing ballet slippers under my wedding gown when I get married as well. Have a great ladies day tomorrow and I love the picture in your post. I will also check out that link in your post too.
Best-
Meg
