A Stroll Through the Garden

After our recent tea party, the girls and I enjoyed roaming the grounds of Southern Homes and Gardens. Here are some of my favorite images from our stroll through the garden.

Melissa, you seriously should publish a coffee table book of your photographs. I'd purchase one and I just bet I wouldn't be the only one. You could use your script, poetry, and scriptures with the photos. You have a beautiful talent and it should be shared. Now, with another request :) did you buy or make the girls outfits? I want to make/or buy one for Jenny's babygirl, Elle.

I agree with Nancy that you should do a book using your God given talent. Shannon always says "is there nothing Melissa can't do?". I love the grounds at Southern Homes and I would love to have a picnic there someday with "my girls."

I hope you are doing much better now after your surgery. I have been keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Have I ever thought to tell you what a remarkable photographer you are? I'm always commenting on what's in the photo and thinking about how skilled the photographer is, so now I'm telling you and correcting a really large oversight. You could so easily make your profession at this! Just remarkable.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! Nancy, I made the girls' pillowcase rompers using a pattern from Etsy designer Whimsy Couture. I have a link to Whimsy Couture a couple of posts back, along with some more detailed photos of the outfits. I adapted the pattern a little, adding pintucks, tatting and bullion roses. They turned out so sweet, and perfect for afternoon tea!

Everything you share is so very lovely! Blogging has been something amazing and a wonderful way to meet such sweet bloggers like you. My blog reading time is limited with my work as a hygienist and the fact that I truly try not to be on the computer too much when my hubby is home (or awake :o) so that we have quality time together. But yesterday morning as he was waking up, I had to share some of your beautiful blog with him :o) I said..."oh, isnt her blog and family just so beautiful!" :o)

Thank you again for sharing...
Blessings & aloha!
(I really appreciate your sweet comment at my post...)
